Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in FACS education. The Student Body Program trains youth on how they can help themselves and their peers live healthier, longer lives by encouraging them to make informed choices about their health by eating right, being fit, and discovering ways to enhance their mental and emotional well-being.
The Student Body Program Guide provides an overview of the program’s key components and contains supplementary resources, lesson plans, pre- and post-tests, project ideas, handouts and ready-to-use materials. The guide enhances student involvement in FACS classroom curriculum and provide inspiration for FCCLA chapter activities and projects.
The Guide was developed as a completely interactive PDF document, structured for ease of use and navigation by facilitators. The interactive Guide contains a bulit-in navigation with embedded links to web content, videos, lesson plans, and worksheets that can be downloaded and used in the classroom. Users can navigate through the units using the left navigation, and icons throughout the guide denote activities and worksheets that can be clicked to download. The Guide is indexed and deployed on a thumb drive to make classroom use easy for facilitators.
